In Belarus, Human Dynamics will be leading and implementing the project: “Support to Effective Air Emissions and Radiation Monitoring, and Improved Environmental Management”. This project has a budget of €2.81m over a period of 36 months and will be comprised of four key experts. This project will assist Belarus to improve air quality management and carry out air quality monitoring in full compliance with the EU Acquis; align its environmental permitting regulations with international and EU standards; and develop a web-based transport policy support tool to help local authorities to explore and identify appropriate policy options (e.g. development of low-emission zones).
The project will elaborate Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans for four major cities in Belarus, based on the application of urban air quality models and transport policy support tools. To achieve the project’s objectives, the Human Dynamics-led Consortium will build upon a project management methodology composed of distinct, but interconnected, modules: stakeholder and risk management; financial management; HR management; reporting and contractual management; communications and visibility; and monitoring and evaluation.
As Human Dynamics has extensive expertise in Project Management, with regard to the environment as well as air quality management and monitoring, we are committed to supporting the development of a greener Belarus.
