A Delegation with high-officials, led by Ms Mungunchimeg Sanjaa - Vice Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (MoLSP), the Director of the Research institute for Labour and Social Protection, and managers at the General Office for Labour and Social Welfare Service in Mongolia were in Ireland, where our SECiM project organised a 5-day study visit (SV) to help our beneficiaries shape employment policy in Mongolia, and elaborate a draft “Law on Employment Promotion”. The SV was organised in mid-September 2018.
The delegation from Mongolia met experts from the ‘’Skills and Labour Market Research Unit’’ (SLMRU) in Ireland, senior officials, practitioners and programme implementers from the Ministry of Business Enterprise and Innovation, Ministry of Employment Affairs and Social Protection, and the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC).
The purpose of the visit was to enhance the capacities of our Mongolian beneficiaries to learn about practices on labour market monitoring and forecasting in a country, with a well-balanced ecosystem on labour market policy-making and substantial agribusiness sector.
