On 20-21 May, 2019, the EU-FINREG has organised a two-day training for more than 30 professionals from the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine (NSSMC) in Lviv. This was the second training, in a series of capacity building efforts, aimed to strengthen knowledge and understanding of capital markets’ functioning, among the non-banking professionals in Ukraine. The training was conducted by Milko Stimac, Key Expert of EU-FINREG Project, and Oksana Krasnokutskaya, the EU-FINREG National Expert.
The participants had the opportunity to improve their skills in corporate governance, mainstreaming of financial derivatives and commodity markets through active learning, as a specific case study was presented by EU-FINREG’s experts during the two-day event.
The trained professionals from the non-banking sector were also introduced to the new regulation on prospectus, a formal document required by and filed for selling the securities with outlined investment strategies, risks, performance, distribution policies and fees
The next capacity building event will take place on June 10-11 in Kharkiv.
