This year’s Human Dynamics Christmas retreat took the company to the quaint medieval city of Bruges in northern Belgium. Colleagues from our offices across Europe converged on the small hanseatic city to exchange their experiences of the past year, and to forge new strategies for the coming one. Indeed, 2016 was a particularly successful year for Human Dynamics as the company continued its ongoing upward trajectory. Notably, we have expanded our project portfolio to include several new large scale projects in areas such as education and policy dialogue– whilst also being rewarded with several extensions for our existing projects in recognition of the high quality results delivered for clients and beneficiaries.
The principle focus of the retreat was the ways in which individual learning can be transformed into a wider culture of corporate learning. In the process, numerous exciting action points were summoned up, discussed and recorded to be explored in 2017. Our goal will be to expand our emphasis on individual learning to a wider collective knowledge - thereby reinforcing our status as a ‘Learning Organisation’; one which has the ability to create, acquire, and transfer knowledge, and furthermore to modify its behaviour to reflect new knowledge and insights.
