The project provided sector-specific support for the tax legislation and administration components. Strengthening the operational capacity of the fiscal authorities, supporting policy makers in the implementation of the Acquis and creating a legal framework for taxation, including:
• Elaboration of economic expertise;
• Technical assistance for the Ministry of Finance;
• Development of draft legislation;
• Training and study visits for civil servants from the Ministry and other persons involved in adjustment processes.
