Further Assistance to the National School of Clerks (Phase II)

The project was intended to assist the Romanian National School of Clerks in developing training curricula for court clerks in fields of application of EC law. Furthermore, to build a professional, independent and transparent judicial system.

 The project aimed to:

• Improve the qualification of the network of trainers habilitated to train in EC matters related to family law and protection of minors, administrative law, commercial law, European cooperation in civil and criminal matters and labour law;
• Improve the initial and continuous training structure for court clerks;
• Develop mechanisms to improve access to information through the endowment of the judicial library and training material. 

The project activities aimed to increase the institutional capacity of the National School of Clerks to enforce the EU law in:

• Extending and improving the NSC trainers network;
• Training of trainers and of sitting clerks in specific EU topics;
• Endowing with teaching equipment and legal documentation.
