Public Health Reform II
The objective of the project is to support health care reform in BiH through harmonisation of relevant public health legislation with the EU directives and regulations in order to enliance evidence based planning of health care system.
The purposes are the following:
- Institutional and capacity building of public health systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to increase its readiness to response on public health threats (pandemic, bio terrorism, natural disasters etc.)
- Enhancement and improvement of assessment of global health of BiH population and system of reporting on communicable diseases
- Improvement of national financial reporting system NHA
Position: Key expert 1 - Team Leader / Public Health Reform Expert
Duration of the assignment: min. 440 work days over 24 months
Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree or postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience of minimum of 5 years relevant to the assignment on top of general experience
General professional experience:
- Preferably 10 years, but minimum of 5 years of experience in working in public health sector
- Experience as manager of at least one international project with duration of at least 1 year or at least 3 years of experience as manager of international projects.
Specific professional experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in development and implementation of public health strategies and polices
- Experience in the field of harmonisation of public health law with EU requirements
Position: Key expert 2 - Expert for Health Epidemiology
Duration of the assignment: min. 330 work days over 24 months
Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree or postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience of minimum of 5 years relevant to the assignment on top of general experience
General professional experience:
- Preferably ten years but minimum of 5 years of professional experience in public health sector
Specific professional experience:
- Preferably 5 years but minimum 3 years of experience in epidemiology
- Experience in health statistics
- Experience in development and implementation of training programmes is an asset
Position: Key expert 3 - Expert for Health Financing
Duration of the assignment: min. 154 work days over 24 months
Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree or postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience of minimum of 5 years relevant to the assignment on top of general experience
General professional experience:
- Preferably 10 years, minimum 5 years of work in the field of finances
- Experience in work within international projects
Specific professional experience:
- Preferably 5 years, minimum 3 years in health care financing
- Experience in development and implementation of National Health Account (NHA) is an asset
