Establishment of Centers for Implementation of IPPC on Regional Level in Croatia
This project is initiated in order to provide assistance to institutions on the regional level which would implement the IPPC Directive (2008/1/EC). The primary goal is to help industries, but also to help other stakeholders involved in the implementation and permitting process.
Expected results:
- Internal capacities of industries to meet the requirements prescribed by the IPPC Directive as transposed to Croatian legislation increased
- Five (5) IPPC Regional centres (clinics) established with proposed model for their operating
Position: Key expert 1 - Team Leader
Duration of the assignment: at least 290 work days over 16 months
Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- University level education (in duration of 4 years)
- Fluency in English language
- Computer literacy
General professional experience:
- 6 years of professional experience in environmental protection issues
- Experience in providing trainings or workshops
Specific professional experience:
- Experience as a Team Leader on at least one project related to environmental protection issues
- 5 years of professional experience in the field of industrial pollution control regarding the requirements of the IPPC Directive
- 2 years of experience in state administrative bodies in the implementation of the IPPC Directive is an advantage
- Experience in providing support to the industry regarding the industrial pollution prevention and control
Position: Key expert 2 - Best Available Techniques (BAT) Expert
Duration of the assignment: at least 245 work days over 16 months

Qualifications and skills:
- University level education in engineering (in duration of 4 years)
- Fluency in English language
- Computer literacy
General professional experience:
- 4 years of professional experience in environmental protection issues
- Working experience on at least one project related to environmental protection issues
- Experience in providing trainings or workshops
Specific professional experience:
- Experience in preparation of IPPC application
- Experience in providing support regarding the Best Available Techniques (BAT)
- Experience in IPPC implementation is an advantage
- Experience of consultative processes between regulatory authorities and industry is an advantage
Position: Key expert 3 - IPPC Permitting Expert
Duration of the assignment: at least 245 work days over 16 months

- Experience in providing trainings or workshops

- Experience of consultative processes between regulatory authorities and industry is an advantage
