Capacity Building for the Compilation of Accounting Data within the Scope of General Government and Public Finance Statistics
The overall objective of the project is to enhance the quality of public finance management in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its transparency and accountability.
The project's purpose is to support the ministries of finance both at state and entity level, Brcko District Department for Finance and other beneficiaries in providing reliable and inter-institutionally harmonised data on Public Finance on the basis of accrual accounting and in line with internationally recognised, in particular EU principles, standards and practices.
Position: Key Expert 1 / Team Leader
Duration of the assignment: 440 work days over 24 months
Requirements
Qualifications and skills:
- A University degree in economics or finance or accounting or statistics
- Master degree in one of mentioned fields would be an advantage
General professional experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience related to the public finance
Specific professional experience:
- Minimum 5 years professional experience related to the development of public financial reporting in accordance with ESA95
- Minimum 5 years of-professional experience-related to-the-development oftreasury system
- Management experience, preferably in managing large scale project similar to this assignment
- Experience in providing training, particularly coaching staff in government bodies would be an advantage
- Experience in international projects related to the candidate / potential candidate countries for EU accession would be an advantage
- Knowledge of one of the BiH languages would be an advantage
