The objective of the EU financed project is to prepare Croatia for efficient and effective management and absorption of IPA assistance, thereby enhancing Croatia’s capacity for effective use of the Structural Funds upon EU accession. It ensures efficient and effective management by the Operating Structure (OS) of the Regional Competitiveness OP (RCOP), and develops the institutional capacity for managing and absorbing IPA funding in accordance with the Framework/ Financing / Implementing / Operational Agreements, EU rules, regulations and procedures and applicable national legislation.
More specifically, technical assistance priority axes give support in information and publicity activities, preparation of calls for proposals and tender documentation, appraisal and selection of projects, implementation support, financial management, control, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, audit, and possible revisions of the Operational Programme.
