This World Bank financed project will run until May 2010. Its overall objective is to provide technical assistance and advice to the Council of Justice (CoJ) and Judicial Department (JD) in development of tools and mechanisms for evaluation, promotion and disciplining of judges.
Through the project the Council of Justice in Armenia will be supported in:
- Design of operating procedures for the CoJ operations
- Design and implement transparent procedures for professional development of the candidate judges and promotion
- Develop standard evaluation criteria for judges
- Implement transparent procedures for disciplining of judges.
