Senior Business Development Manager
Human Dynamics is a leading European provider of premium development economics consulting services for the European Commission and the World Bank in both developing and transition countries world wide. With contracts currently under management exceeding 46M EUR, we assist governments in improving the performance and delivery of public services through the provision of high quality consultancy in line with international best practice approaches.
We work with, and advise clients in the fields of Economics, Regulatory Affairs and Institution Building & Good Governance and are seeking dynamic professionals to join our Business Development Department in Vienna.
You will have:
- A Degree from a top University in Economics, Law or International Relations (a Masters Degree would be an advantage)
- 3-5 years experience bidding for EU/DfID/World Bank service tenders
- Experience in establishing and managing consortia and partnerships
- Leadership experience
- Strong conceptual, analytical and reporting skills
- Experience dealing with senior civil servants and government officials
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent work ethics, dynamism and ability to cope with multiple tasks
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English are a must, while fluency in written and spoken French and/or Spanish will be an additional asset.
- IT-skills: advanced use of MS Office

Challenging in-house positions: human dynamics is currently seeking to increase its Vienna based project management capacities for IFI projects in CEE and the CIS in the following areas:
public finance:
tax reform
legal reform & institution building
public administration
sme business advisory services
budget management
economic development
social policy & labour relations
cross-border cooperation
Requirements include:
Qualifications related to the above; a minimum of 3–5 years work experience in managing EC and World Bank funded projects in CEE and the CIS; excellent English verbal & written communication skills; other local languages highly desirable; resourcefulness, client orientation, strong conceptual, analytical & reporting skills; outstanding track record of successfully completed projects.
