Jobs

Explanatory Note

What kind of job opportunities does Human Dynamics offer?

Currently, Human Dynamics implements more than 40 projects around the globe, staffed by senior, junior, international and local experts. Experts usually work as self-employed consultants for us for the duration of the project. Backstopping is delivered by the company’s head office in Vienna, Austria, which has a staff complement of around 30 people and by our local offices in Romania and Bulgaria.

Human Dynamics applies for new projects by responding to procurement notices and tenders issued by technical cooperation organisations such as the EC, EDF, World Bank, Asian Development Bank and others. Opportunities arising from such procedures are frequently advertised and constitute the majority of job notices posted on our website.

In-house positions in the Vienna or Sofia office are posted in a separate section on this website.

Information on the status of a job opportunity

There are four different statuses for our job opportunities:

  • Forecast: A project has been officially announced with a forecast notice and Human Dynamics plans to express its interest for this opportunity. However, there is only very limited information available as concerns the content of the project, the required expertise, the timing, etc. A deadline for submitting an expression of interest or the start of the project is not known at this stage. However, applications from experts are already appreciated.
  • Open: We are expressing our interest for a project or have been asked to qualify for a shortlist and already, at this stage, wish to identify and commit expertise.
  • Pre-selection: We have submitted our interest for a specific project and are awaiting to get short listed. We usually receive a notification within 2-4 weeks.
  • Bid preparation: Human Dynamics has been short-listed and called upon to submit a proposal. We are seeking expertise for the tender to be submitted.

For any further information on the respective project, please contact the project manager who is indicated in the project announcement.
